About Mark Twain House

When it comes to the hometown of Mark Twain, people often think of the town of Missouri, but Mark and Twain have a special feeling about the other farm in Hartford, another hometown. He hired Edward Tuckerman Porter, a famous architect in New York, to design the Vitoria style residence for him. From 1874 to 1891, he and his family lived in, completed many popular works, such as "Tom Sawyer", "the adventures of Hakbely Finn", "in King Arthur's Court of the state of Connecticut".
