The Glorious Church is a Swedish Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1697 and 1700. It is the oldest church in Philadelphia and the second oldest church in Sweden in the United States. It is second only to St. Trinity Church in Wilmington.

The glorious church is surrounded by historic buildings, attracting the arrival of Christians and tourists. It is rectangular and influenced by medieval and Gothic architectural styles. It is 60 feet tall and 30 feet long. Its sloping roof, small windows and gables are noticeable. The church began to be used in 1700. The spire on the top was built in 1703. It was listed as a national historic site in 1942. The wood carvings of Angel Gabriel hang from the ceiling inside the church. They are very conspicuous. In addition, you can see the pipe organ with a long history, which was first used in 1703.

Whether colonial or present, Glorious Church has always been the most popular Wedding Church in the region, where Betsy Ross, the designer of the first American flag, held the wedding in 1777. There are still many young people who choose to hold the most sacred wedding in their lives.
