About Brandywine Park

Located in Brandywine Park in Wilmington, Brandywine Park opened in 1905 and covers 12 acres. Although the zoo is not very large, it is the only zoo in Delaware and is popular with children. There are 58 species and about 150 animals in Brandiwan Zoo, which is home to mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds.

Animals in the museum are mainly from the United States and temperate Asia. They share the same sky on the same roof. Tourists can learn about the living habits and environment of animals, what they eat, where they sleep, and who takes care of them. This is very helpful to improve people's awareness of animal protection. Zoos also provide a series of preschool education or cognitive animal education programs for children of different ages, so that children can contact animals in childhood, thereby enriching children's animal knowledge and fostering awareness of animal protection.
