The world’s largest transnational waterfall: Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is the largest transnational waterfall in the world. It is located on the Niagara River in Ontario, Canada and New York state of the United States. It is a great waterfall on the Niagara River in northeast North America and one of the most famous wonders in the American continent. The average flow rate is about 5720 m3 / s, which is called the world's three major transnational waterfalls together with iguasu waterfall and Victoria waterfall. Niagara Falls has always attracted people to spend their honeymoons, cross the falls on steel ropes, or swim the falls in barrels.

Niagara Falls, one of the most famous landscapes in the United States and Canada, is located near Buffalo City, New York, on the U.S. - Canada border, between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The water from the upstream reaches the cliff. It is more than 185 feet in height. With the huge impact of the torrent, it washes out a 7-kilometer-long canyon. The surging momentum is like thousands of troops. It reverberates in the canyon. Tourists on the shore are fascinated and stunned by the explosive force of Niagara Falls.

The two islands are Goat Island and Luna Island. They are like two mainstays that divide the waterfall into three. The island is covered with trees and the scenery is elegant.

Niagara Falls is actually composed of three parts: Horseshoe Falls, American falls and veil of the bride falls. The horseshoe falls, located in Canada, are shaped like horseshoes; merican falls are separated by Goat Island in the United States; and bridal veil falls, also in the United States, are separated by Moon Island. In fact, what you see in the United States is just the side of Niagara Falls. In Canada, you can see the whole picture.

Niagara Falls is not really a waterfall. Some people say that it consists of two waterfalls, "Canadian waterfall" and "American waterfall" -- most Canadians say so; for example, according to the Americans, there are three waterfalls: "Horseshoe Falls", which is shaped like a horse's hoof, "American falls" and "bridal veil falls". "Bridal veil" is next to the wide "American waterfall". Although it is only a thin thread, it is a branch of its own, so the Americans "declare" its "independence". The three Niagara Waterfalls are 1160 meters wide (1240 meters wide if two islands are added). Although they are divided into three streams, they are the same source of water and the same destination - the Niagara River.
