How about going to Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a famous National Park in the United States. It was established in 1934, covering an area of 520000 acres (about 210000 hectares). It is located on the blue ridge at the southern end of the apalachian mountains in the east of the United States. Administratively located at the junction of western North Carolina and southern Tennessee. The scenery is very beautiful. It can attract more than 10 million visitors every year. It is the most visited national park in the United States.

Great smog mountain park has convenient transportation, with three entrances and exits in the East, South and West, all of which are connected with highways. Each road intersects Park Road in different places. Park Road in the park can be used by car for self driving tour. There is also a pedestrian road for hiking or horse riding tour. The total length of pedestrian road in the park is 800 miles (1 mile = 1.609 km), and the total length of river is 700 miles. There are 80 square kilometers of virgin forest. According to experts' estimates, there are about 100000 species of animals and plants in the park. By 1998, nearly 10000 species had been identified. Then researchers listed another 2500 species, 250 of which were unknown before, and some of them were almost extinct.

The mountain range has a history of 1 billion years and is one of the oldest mountains in the world. After the glaciers retreated, streams and rivers began to flow, and plants covered the sharp ridge, forming a good ecological environment and a smooth appearance of the great smog mountain. Now, the great smog mountain is one of the most biologically diverse natural environments on the earth, and has been recognized as an international biosphere reserve and world natural heritage by the United Nations.

The great smog Mountain National Park covers an area of 200000 hectares, which has not been damaged by human beings, so it provides a relatively favorable growth environment for plants. It has 3500 species of endemic plants and many endangered animals, especially the largest salamander group in the world.

Blue fog - the name given to Cherokee Indians refers to the area between North Carolina and Tennessee. The dense fog formed by the water vapor from the forest around the earth's surface is surrounded by mountains and filled with canyons. It's in this area.

After many tribulations, the great smog Mountain National Park was built in 1926. Covering an area of more than 800 square miles, it is the best temperate deciduous forest in the world, and the survivor of the dense forests here before Columbus found America. Because of the fertile soil and abundant rainfall, there are 1520 kinds of flowers, 130 kinds of trees, 50 kinds of mammals and 27 kinds of living lizards. Many species are unique in the world. These plants have some connection with the plants found on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, which proves the migration of trees and flowers from Asia to America through Bering during the geological history. The smokes also represent an important period in the earth's development history about 300 million years ago, when the collision of supercontinents led to the uplift of the earth's crust and the formation of rolling mountains, which were then weathered and flattened by erosion. The landscape features, biological evolution and species diversity make the park the best natural reserve.

It is not only rich in natural heritage, but also has a long cultural history. From Cherokee Indians to immigrants in Scotland and Ireland, the land is home to many cultures and nationalities. Here you can learn about the early life style of peasant families and communities living in the south of Appalachian Mountains. Many historic buildings still stand. 77 historic buildings are concentrated in five areas, including logging shed, barn, church, rice mill and other various outdoor buildings. However, these ancestors changed from hard survival to predatory development. Logging almost destroyed the original forest in this area, and restoration has become the theme of today.

The rich diversity of animals and plants in Dayangshan attracts tourists and students. Educators in the United States regard it as a natural classroom, providing students with a unique outdoor experience. Biologists continue to focus on increasing the number of existing species such as salmon, owls and a large number of native plants. In 1997 A.D., scientists chose Mt. Wu for an unprecedented research survey, operated by a comprehensive organization, ATBI (biodiversity classification survey), to investigate and record all the organisms except bacteria and microorganisms living in the park.
