The overiew about the Flame Canyon Reservoir,
The Flame Canyon Reservoir, a dam built on the Green River in 1958, is a major attraction in the National Recreation Area across the border between Utah and Wyoming. The man-made lake, with five full-service yacht terminals, is an ideal resort for water sports, boating and fishing. More than 100 miles (160 kilometers) of trails, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding are also popular activities. Named after the flame-colored cliffs rising from the green river, the flame Canyon is the most beautiful at sunrise or sunset, when the canyon gives off brilliant colors.
