Religious Distribution in St. Louis

The main religious beliefs in St. Louis include Catholicism (mainly of French, Irish and Southwest European descent) and Protestantism (including various denominations). According to a 2010 survey, 46.1% of St. Louis residents belong to religious organizations, slightly lower than the United States average of 49.9%.
